Ok, maybe its not quite that hard, but we’re going to try and explain the goings on in Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time as best we understand it, how it reflects and echoes the themes of the original Evangelion TV series, the previous redo of the ending, and what this all might really mean for creator Hideaki Anno and the Evangelion project in future.
